A moissanite is lighter than a diamond of the same millimetre size —
about 12–15% lighter. So the trade quotes DEW (Diamond
Equivalent Weight): the carat a diamond of that size would be.
A listing that says “1 CT” means a 6.5 mm round —
the stone itself weighs about 0.88 ct.

left is worked out in rupees at this rate.
Every stone purchase of a month is added up, and that total is divided
equally over that month's orders — carat weight does not come into it.

rate. Once it is in, both guesses are dropped: the payout already
has the fee taken out and is already in rupees.
